Provided by AGPAs stated by reports, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said during a briefing that Moscow welcomes remarks from certain European politicians advocating pragmatic engagement with Russia, including comments attributed to Bulgarian political figure Rumen Radev.
He noted that Russia views such calls positively and believes that disagreements and conflicting interests should be addressed through negotiation.
According to reports, Peskov also cautioned that it is too early to interpret these individual statements as a broader shift in Europe’s overall position toward Russia, pointing to continued opposing views emerging from Brussels.
As stated by reports, he further commented on the Middle East situation, expressing hope that diplomatic processes in the region will continue and warning against a return to violent escalation, describing the situation as highly unstable and difficult to predict.
He added that Russia is not currently acting as a mediator in the situation but remains prepared to offer assistance if requested to help facilitate agreements between the involved parties.
