Israel genocide of Gazans continues, surpassing fifty-five thousand one hundred

(MENAFN) The Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Wednesday that the death toll in Gaza has exceeded 55,100 since Israel’s military campaign began in October 2023. Within the past 24 hours alone, 123 bodies were delivered to hospitals, while 474 individuals were injured, pushing the total number of casualties in the ongoing conflict to 127,394.

The ministry highlighted that numerous victims remain trapped beneath debris and on the streets, as rescue teams struggle to reach those affected.

Following the resumption of Israeli attacks on March 18, over 4,800 people have been murdered and more than 15,500 harmed, marking a collapse of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal that had been in effect since January.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israel is also facing a genocide case brought before the International Court of Justice related to its actions in the region.
