Billionaire musk is not safe from deportation either

(MENAFN) Steve Bannon, a close associate of Leader Donald Trump and former top White House strategist, voiced strong opposition to tech mogul Elon Musk on Thursday, proposing that Musk be deported from the United States.

“They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately,” Bannon stated in a phone interview, according to reports.

He further argued that Trump’s team should look into Musk’s alleged drug use and his reported attempt to obtain a classified intelligence briefing on China from the Pentagon.

Bannon’s remarks come amid an intensifying clash between Musk and Trump, as the two men’s formerly cooperative relationship has collapsed into a flurry of public disputes and personal attacks.

Just hours before Bannon’s comments, Musk had called for Trump’s impeachment, following the president’s threats to eliminate substantial government subsidies and contracts awarded to Musk’s businesses.

This latest round of exchanges underscores the deepening rift between the two former allies, particularly after Musk left his role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which had been responsible for trimming government spending.

Trump himself expressed his frustration on Thursday, saying he was “very disappointed” with Musk as the billionaire’s campaign against his administration’s prominent tax and spending bill gained momentum.
